Hello and welcome! My name is Evelyn Harper, founder and main instructor of this unique ocean-side sewing and tailoring retreat. With over twenty years of experience in the fashion industry, I have dedicated my career to mastering the art of sewing and tailoring, transforming simple fabrics into bespoke creations that celebrate individual style and craftsmanship.
My journey began with a degree in Fashion Design from the prestigious Parsons School of Design, followed by an enriching apprenticeship under renowned couture designers in Paris. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working with both emerging designers and established fashion houses, honing my skills and gaining invaluable insights into garment construction, pattern-making, and bespoke tailoring.
In addition to my professional pursuits, I have always had a deep-seated passion for teaching and sharing my knowledge with others.
